Bulls Head History

Situated in the centre of Barston and lying in a conservation area, The Bulls Head has stood at the heart of Barston since the 1490's.

Originally a staging inn on the old main road between Coventry and Birmingham, the pub can also boast of Shakespearan links. In Henry IV Part 2, the traveller is en route to Sutton Coldfield from Stratford-Upon-Avon and stayed at the inn at Barston.

The pub also houses a priesthole dating back to Cromwellian times.
